As I write this, our “Go Group” is less then two days away from arriving in Las Vegas to serve at the Adult Entertainment Expo sponserd by the AVN (Adult Video News). The is the largest porn convention in the world. We leave Wednesday, January 6th for five days.
We will be assisting xxxchurch in passing out bibles and sharing the love of Jesus to the attendees and convention exhibitors.
EastLake Church is sending 15 people to help in this outreach. While there we’ll be at the Porn Show from 9am to 6pm every day. In the evening some of our team members will be headed to the strip clubs in Vegas to minister to the ladies working there. Our goal is to share Christ and help them understand that no matter what you do Jesus still loves you.
I am proud of this group of dedicated volunteers. We are ready to plant seeds of faith in dark places. We’re awaiting God’s light to shine on them and watch them bear fruit.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for safety, health, words of wisdom and healing for all involved.
